To fix this issue, you have two options. You could empty the Outlook temporary folder which is stated in the following registry key:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\SecurityValue = OutlookSecureTempFolder
However, you can also point your Outlook temporary files to a different location should you wish. Just simply change the OutlookSecureTempFolder value and reboot your machine.
Note: the 16.0 in the path is for Outlook 2016/2019/365. If you’re on an older version, swap it for 15.0 (Outlook 2013) or 14.0 (Outlook 2010) instead.
