Video Demo
From a TikTok profile to one ZIP file, in under a minute.
Everything you need to save a profile
No screen recording, and no copying links one at a time.
The whole profile
Clip Saver scrolls the profile for you and picks up every video as it loads.
Best quality
It picks the highest resolution TikTok has for each video, in H.264 so it plays on any phone, PC or TV.
Photo posts too
Photo carousels come down as full-size pictures, one file per photo.
Just one video
Open a single video instead of a profile and Clip Saver saves only that one.
You choose what goes in
A preview grid shows every video and photo before it downloads. Untick anything you don’t want.
One tidy ZIP
The account name and the date are in every file name, all in a single download.
A list of every video
An optional spreadsheet (CSV) lists each video’s link, date and caption.
Duplicates taken out
The same photo posted twice, or a smaller copy, is removed automatically.
Nothing in between
Videos come straight from TikTok to your computer. No website in the middle, no uploads, no queue.
How to install it
On Microsoft Edge, the easiest way is the Edge Add-ons store: click Get and it installs and updates itself. For Chrome, Brave, Opera and Vivaldi it takes about a minute, and you only do it once.
Download and unzip
Download the ZIP and unzip it somewhere you will keep it, such as Documents. The browser runs the extension from that folder, so leave it there.
Open your extensions page
Type chrome://extensions in the address bar. In Edge use edge://extensions, in Brave brave://extensions.
Switch on Developer mode
The switch is top right in Chrome and Brave, and bottom left in Edge. It just lets you add an extension from a folder.
Load unpacked
Click Load unpacked and pick the clip-saver folder. Then pin the Clip Saver icon from the puzzle piece menu.
On Firefox, download the Firefox version, open about:debugging, choose This Firefox, then Load Temporary Add-on and pick the ZIP. Firefox removes temporary add-ons when it closes, so the Firefox Add-ons listing will be the easier option once it is approved.
See it in action
Every step, exactly as it looks in your browser.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Clip Saver really free?
Yes. There is no Pro version, no ads, no limit on how many videos you save and nothing to sign up for. It is open source under the GPL-3.0, so you can read every line of it on GitHub.
Does Clip Saver collect any of my data?
No. Everything happens inside your own browser. Clip Saver reads what TikTok already sends to the page you are looking at and downloads the files from TikTok’s own servers. There is no account, no analytics and nothing is sent anywhere else.
Why do I need to keep the TikTok tab open?
TikTok only hands its videos to its own pages, so Clip Saver fetches each video through the TikTok tab. Leave it open until your ZIP has downloaded.
It says it was added after the page opened. What do I do?
Clip Saver has to be running before TikTok loads the profile. Refresh the page once and click the icon again.
Why did a video fail?
TikTok sometimes stops serving a video, or a link expires if the results tab is left open for a long time. Go back to the profile, refresh it and run Clip Saver again.
Is Clip Saver on the Edge Add-ons store?
Yes. On Microsoft Edge, install it from the Edge Add-ons store and it updates itself. On Chrome, Brave, Opera and Vivaldi, download the ZIP from this page and add it with Load unpacked.
Does it work on Firefox?
Yes. Download the Firefox version from this page. A Firefox Add-ons listing is in review and will make installing it permanent.
Can I use the videos however I like?
The videos still belong to the people who made them. Clip Saver is ideal for backing up your own account or keeping content you have permission to use, but you need the creator’s permission before reposting anyone else’s work.
Is Clip Saver made by TikTok?
No. It is an independent tool made by TechyGeeksHome and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to TikTok or ByteDance.
