Description
Most backup setups are trusted by default, not checked. A schedule gets configured once, nobody looks again, and the first sign anything was wrong is a restore that fails. MSP Backup Health Report is a PowerShell tool that audits Windows Server Backup or Veeam Backup & Replication, whichever is present, and turns what it finds into a single, clear, interactive HTML report.
What it checks: backup coverage and configuration, failed or stale jobs, disabled schedules, repository and target free space, the 3-2-1 offsite copy rule, and retention against your own minimum.
What you get: a 0-100 health score, a filterable and sortable findings table, and full evidence and guidance for every finding: all built into one self-contained HTML file with no internet connection or install needed to view it.
Requirements: PowerShell 5.1 or later. For Windows Server Backup, the WindowsServerBackup feature and an elevated session on the machine doing the backing up. For Veeam, run it on the Veeam Backup & Replication server itself. Read-only: it never changes a job, a schedule or a repository.
Fully customisable: set your own or your client’s branding, the staleness window, free-space threshold and minimum retention, all via command-line parameters. Full instructions included in the download.
Licence: for use by the purchasing individual or organisation, including running it for your own MSP clients. Not to be resold or redistributed as a standalone download. See the included LICENSE.txt for full terms.
