If you are having buffering issues, then there is a secret menu that you can get into and make some changes and also view whether there is any interference to the wireless connection on the Now TV box.
All you have to do is carry out these remote key presses in this order:
- Home Button x 5
- Fast Forward Button x 1
- Play Button x 1
- Rewind Button x 1
- Play Button x 1
- Fast Forward x 1
You should then get into the secret menu and you can then “Disable Network Pings”.
Also in this menu, you can check the “Glitch” count which will let you know if there is something interfering with your wireless connection to the device. In our case, the baby video monitor was found to be the cause – high glitch rate with it switched on and huge buffering, but when we switched it off, much lower glitch rate and no problem whatsoever with the buffering.
