  1. I am trying to move files from a windows 7 computer to this newer windows 10 version. I started with the Easy Transfer on the 7 and copied the file onto a disk drive. I am trying to use the Easy Transfer Tool on the 10 and downloaded it from MajorGeeks but when I go to open it it says the data is missing from the file and to try reinstalling it. I cton’t even get it to open the file to run it. What am I doing wrong??

  4. Believe i am doing everything correctly but when running extracted migwiz application as the administrator I get “Windows Easy Transfer can’t log on to your domain account. Your new computer may not be connected to the domain”. I have no clue as to what this means.and no way to fix the problem.

  5. Thank you, works fine on the latest Windows build 2004.

To the person that complained that Easy Transfer (migwiz I call it) didn’t work, before criticizing, try running the executable ( migwiz.exe ) as Administrator. Do this by right-clicking the on the file and choose “Run as Administrator”.
