If you are installing a fresh copy of Football Manager 2015 through Steam, when you try and load the game after a seemingly successful download and install, you may receive an error similar to this one:

“The Steam servers are too busy to handle your request for Football Manager 2015 Error 53”

If you get this, then the reason is either exactly what it states and the Steam servers are too busy, but more likely, your Anti-Virus or Firewall program is blocking the installation from completing.

In our case, we had McAfee installed with the firewall and on-access real time scanner running. We disabled all the McAfee utilities and run the game again – it completed the install without any problem at all.

Once the installation is complete, you can re-enable all your firewall and Anti-Virus programs and the game should work perfectly well after that.
