Viewing WEBP images in Windows Photo Viewer

You may have started to come across image files that are in WEBP forma on the internet recently. These are usually opened using Google Chrome but this can be very annoying if you have saved a number of these images and want to browse through them using Windows Photo Viewer instead of having to open them one by one.

Well, there is a solution. You can download the WEBP Codecs which will then allow you to associate WEBP files with Windows Photo Viewer and use them just like JPG’s.
