google earth pro MSI logo

The best way to ensure Google Earth gets removed is to collect the Google Earth.msi file that is put into the %temp% directory when installed – but you have to make sure that you use the correct version for the version installed.

So, create a report in SCCM for all Google Earth installs with file version (let me know if you need a report query for this)- then download the various versions (if there are different ones), install on your own machine or a temp or lab machine, go into the %temp% directory and copy out the Google Earth.msi file.

Then, create a package with this file in it only, then use the following as your Program command line:

msiexec.exe /x google earth.msi /qn

Advertise it where you want to remove it (remember to use the correct version though) and it will work.
