If you need to download the Windows 8.1 recovery media for your OEM version of your operating system, then you can do so by clicking the link below and entering the details from your licence sticker (COA).

Windows 8.1 Recovery Software

You can download the media to a USB stick or ISO file to burn to DVD and then this will allow you to re-install your factory provided operating system.

Instructions

All you need to do is to go to the website link as above, then click the Create Media button. This will download an executable file and you should then run this program.

Once it has loaded, you will need to make some selections from the drop down lists. This is your language, product and architecture:

Then click the next button and you will then need to select if you want to download to ISO or USB format:

Then you select where you want to save the downloaded file and then your download will start:

Once you have gone through the download process, you can use your media immediately. Note that this media can be between 2GB-5GB so you will need a decent internet connection.
