The Xbox One S has finally been announced with a release date in the UK set for 31st August.
It will come with a 2TB hard drive for extra storage which was always a problem with the Xbox One if you purchase games online an it will also be 40% smaller.
It also boasts an integrated power supply rather than having a big power pack on the lead externally.
The control pad has also had an upgrade with it having extra wireless coverage allowing you to be further away from the Xbox One unit.
It will also support up to 4K which is great news with most 4K televisions now having come down so much in price.
The colour has also changed from black to a white/silver design but apart from that it is pretty much “Honey I shrunk my Xbox”.
The cost in the UK will be £349.00 for the standard bundle which will include:
- Xbox One S console
- 2TB hard drive (internal)
- Xbox Wireless Controller with 3.5mm headset jack
- Console stand (for vertical orientation)
- HDMI cable
- AC power cable
- 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial
